Assistant Director Strategy, Coordination & Risk Management - Executive Level 1 (Ongoing)

The Corporate Governance and Risk (CGR) Section, leads and coordinates the National Archives’ engagement with integrated risk management, its audit program, responses to and provision of legal services, including for Freedom of Information (FOI), privacy, legislation matters, requests for legal advice, litigation expenditure, and broader coordination of and support to a range of National Archives governance committees.

Based in Canberra, this diverse role will use high level written and oral communication skills to proactively and consistently meet deadlines and support the branch executive with a range of governance, risk and assurance activities. The Assistant Director will act as the National Archives key risk advisor and lead the communication and implementation of risk management policy across the agency. The position will also take a lead role in the operation of the National Archives' Parliamentary activity.

 

Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance to Baseline.
