The People & Culture Section is responsible for developing and implementing policies and strategies to ensure the National Archives' workforce and workplace has the tools and capabilities to achieve our key roles and responsibilities. The section administers employment arrangements under the National Archives Enterprise Agreement and key services including payroll, recruitment and performance management. The section also oversees work health and safety arrangements, workforce planning and the delivery of professional development opportunities and frameworks. The Payroll and Reporting Manager will work under limited direction to conduct complex, high quality HR services and provide advice to managers and other staff. They coordinate and respond to complex requests and enquiries by employees, handle escalated cases and provide support to junior staff.
