The NSW office of the National Archives of Australia is in the National Network Coordination section of the Collection Management Branch. National Network Coordination is responsible for the strategic and operational implementation of the National Archives’ physical presence and statutory functions across a network of state and territory offices in Australia. This includes collection management, archival services, access, public engagement, digitisation and relevant state and territory stakeholder management responsibilities.
The State Manager, Public Engagement, NSW leads a team engaged in the delivery of services to the public, coordinating the operations of an onsite research centre and offsite and online access to the collection in line with published standards of service. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person who will build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to promote the role and objectives of the National Archives.
The successful candidate will work collaboratively with the State Manager, Collection, NSW to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of National Archives’ services and programs and contribute to the leadership of the NSW office.
