The People and Culture Section is responsible for developing and implementing policies and strategies to enhance workforce culture, wellbeing, capability and engagement. The Section administers employment arrangements under the National Archives Enterprise Agreement including payroll, recruitment and performance management. The Section also oversees work health and safety, inclusion, workforce planning and reporting, and capability development.

Our ideal candidates are curious HR practitioners/professionals with experience building high-performing teams. They will have strong customer orientation, excellent communication skills and strategic thinking, and be collaborative leaders who partners with stakeholders to deliver innovative and fit-for-purpose solutions.

Eligibility: To be eligible for the role you must be an Australian citizen. If you are selected, you will be required to successfully undergo a pre-employment check and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at a Baseline clearance level.
