The Corporate Governance and Risk (CGR) Section, leads and coordinates the National Archives’ engagement with integrated risk management, its audit program, responses to and provision of legal services, including for Freedom of Information (FOI), privacy, legislation matters, requests for legal advice, litigation expenditure, and broader coordination of and support to a range of National Archives governance committees.

The role of the Administration Officer is to support the operations of the National Archives' Integrity team. This includes conducting research, procuring legal services, monitoring and assessing Freedom of Information requests, and preparing and processing documents. The role will coordinate and monitor several inboxes and refer correspondence for action and provide assistance to the Assistant Director (Integrity) in processing, monitoring and reporting expenditure and use of Commonwealth resources.

 

Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance to Baseline.
