The HR Support Officer is a key role within HR Policy and Services team. You will manage the HR helpdesk inbox, responding to HR queries or allocating them for action. This will include submitting payroll action to our outsourced payroll provider and monitoring responses. You will also provide advice and guidance to staff on a range of general HR related issues including conditions of service, induction of new employees, and HR policy and procedures. Where required, this role will be responsible for preparing employment contracts and other recruitment action for processing.
This role requires the ability to be responsive, adaptable and resourceful within a busy team. Key skills involve the ability to prioritise, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong customer service focus and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Eligibility: Applicants must be Australian citizens and be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance to Baseline Level.
