The National Archives of Australia is undergoing significant change including the redevelopment of its digital preservation applications. The Assistant Director, Applications Development will work under broad direction from the Director, Applications and Operations to develop and support innovative digital preservation applications, including integration with updated digital storage. This position will provide expertise in full software lifecycle of applications for digital archive and access management.
This role requires a person who has an excellent understanding of building technical solutions to deliver services, and an enthusiasm for exploring new architectures and technologies to deliver better service delivery for both internal and external customers.
